Basis Technologies announced that ActiveControl, its DevOps automation solution, has been certified for use in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) systems.
ECP users can now employ ActiveControl to help them move faster, minimize risk and ensure full audit compliance when making changes to payroll systems on which employee livelihoods depend.
With ActiveControl ECP users are able to maintain and adapt complex, company-specific payroll processes in a rapid, error-free manner - with minimal manual effort and a complete record of every step of every change. New approaches like agile development and DevOps can now be adopted by payroll teams, enabling greater agility and faster delivery of innovation, while improving the quality of SAP change and increasing productivity.
The unique nature of ECP - hosted and managed by SAP as part of the SuccessFactors Cloud and containing highly sensitive data - created the need for a specific certification scheme to verify that software add-on tools can be used safely and effectively in ECP environments. ActiveControl, already fully certified for use on SAP S/4HANA and Netweaver systems, has achieved this additional SAP seal of approval.
“We’re delighted that SAP users will be able to extend the modern development and delivery practices enabled by ActiveControl to even more systems,” said David Lees, CTO at Basis Technologies. “ECP certification means that payroll teams will be able to enjoy the many benefits of SAP automation, allowing them to operate with greater speed, safety and transparency.”
ActiveControl forms part of Basis Technologies’ DevOps and test automation platform, which also includes Testimony, the automated SAP regression testing technology that eliminates the need for creation and maintenance of test scripts.
