DoiT announced the acquisition of PerfectScale, an automated Kubernetes (K8s) optimization and governance platform.
This acquisition will allow DoiT customers to manage, secure and optimize containerized workloads that run on Kubernetes, with efficiency and resilience at scale.
DoiT Cloud Intelligence takes an integrated approach to cloud optimization across critical architectural principles. Blending operational intelligence, workload intelligence, human intelligence, and ops automation, DoiT Cloud Intelligence delivers context-aware solutions to help customers optimize, scale, and innovate across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. PerfectScale’s solution addresses a critical use case of autonomous and proactive resource optimization for K8s workloads.
DoiT and PerfectScale are aligned in their shared commitment that operational excellence and FinOps are not independent outcomes and are equally critical for organizations to achieve scale.
“While the application ecosystem keeps shifting, Kubernetes remains at the heart of infrastructure environments,” said DoiT CEO Vadim Solovey. “We reviewed the landscape of Kubernetes observability and automation platforms closely and PerfectScale had the best combination of capabilities, market timing and value. PerfectScale is modern, incredibly well-built, has amazing user experience and simplifies Kubernetes operations, optimizing cost while promoting more performant and resilient environments.”
PerfectScale’s platform continuously and autonomously optimizes K8s environments for peak performance and resilience while keeping costs as low as possible. By combining comprehensive visibility with data-driven insights, the platform safely eliminates wasted resources and ensures applications always have the compute resources needed to continuously meet demand. This adds a layer of capacity and resource governance that simplifies ongoing day-two K8s operations and allows teams to focus on what matters most, driving business value.
"From day one, our goal at PerfectScale has been to deliver the most advanced Kubernetes optimization and governance solution on the market," said Amir Banet, CEO & co-founder of PerfectScale. "By combining our two solutions, we’re addressing the critical intersection of Kubernetes optimization and FinOps—a challenge faced by almost every modern organization yet underserved by existing solutions."
Both DoiT and PerfectScale will continue to pursue their strategic roadmaps for the coming calendar year, accentuating each other’s strengths. For DoiT, this means further investment in advancing feature functionality and service capabilities, while PerfectScale will be focused on delivering advanced optimization capabilities across the entire K8s stack, including GPU, storage, and networking.
PerfectScale is an important part of DoiT’s comprehensive roadmap that puts DoiT Cloud Intelligence at the cutting edge of the next-generation FinOps market. The PerfectScale deal follows DoiT’s recent acquisition of LiveDiagrams, a cloud infrastructure visualization and analysis software. PerfectScale will continue to operate independently and is available as an add-on to DoiT Cloud Intelligence customers.
