Seapine Software Releases Update to Surround SCM
October 12, 2016

Seapine Software released Surround SCM 2016.1.

The latest release of Seapine’s collaborative version control solution includes JIRA 7 integration for issue tracking, additional web client functionality, and improved label management.

Surround SCM provides centralized version control of digital assets, and includes unique features that set it apart from competitive products, such as workflow automation, electronic signatures, and built-in code reviews.

Version 2016.1 Highlights:

- Web client enhancements. New web client enhancements allow users who are working off site or in a QA lab, and do not have access to the desktop client, to check in file changes and download all files in a single repository.

- Tighter TestTrack integration. When integrated with TestTrack, Seapine’s ALM solution, Surround SCM provides complete change management. Version 2016.1 includes the ability to attach committed changelists, and changelists with rename or remove events, to TestTrack items.

The release also includes improved file label management, integration support for JIRA 7, and API enhancements.
