JFrog announced a new machine learning (ML) lifecycle integration between JFrog Artifactory and MLflow, an open source software platform originally developed by Databricks.
CA Technologies showcased an Agile Management portfolio that fuses strategy, investment and portfolio planning technology with agile coaching expertise to help enterprises succeed in the application economy.
“Companies are made or broken on how quickly they can deliver innovation while still managing within the resource and funding constraints of the business,” said James Harvey, GM, IT Business Management, CA Technologies. “Leading with the best agile coaches in the industry, our Agile Management solution portfolio is the first of its kind to tightly connect business strategy with development execution, creating a high-speed work environment.”
The Agile Management portfolio combines select software and service components from CA and Rally, which CA acquired in July 2015, to give business leaders a technology and education platform that helps redefine how business deliverables are planned and executed. This holistic approach helps organizations of all sizes – including large enterprises – adopt the agile approaches and cultural mindset required to drive digital transformation and adapt to rapidly changing business demands.
“The greatest obstacle to successful agile acceptance involves cultural and organizational change; having appropriate interoperable tools is important, but companies who are the most successful with systemic agile methodology adoption and transformation understand that this demands more than mere technology automation and deployment,” said Melinda Ballou, Program Director, Application Life-Cycle Management and Executive Strategies, IDC. “So organizations seeking to make this transition should consider and evaluate vendors for full suites of capabilities, from tools to the mentoring expertise that can help to ease the agile learning curve and evolution to full adoption.”
The Agile Management portfolio and coaching of agile practices have helped companies transform their businesses, some achieving a 50 percent faster time-to-market than industry peers and 25 percent increase in global productivity. More than 276,000 people use CA Agile Central (formerly the Rally Agile Application Lifecycle Management solution) and more than 30,000 people have received CA Agile Training.
According to Forrester, 69 percent of 560 surveyed decision-makers in the annual Forrester Forrsights Software Survey said they have interest, plan to implement, or have already implemented agile for their custom development.
