January 04, 2017

CollabNet announced a new release of CollabNet TeamForge, its flagship platform for enterprise Agile and SCM initiatives.

This release incorporates new features that extend the unique capabilities in TeamForge to further improve visibility, traceability and collaboration. It provides expanded enterprise-version-control capabilities, expanded support for REST APIs and new features for preventing and fixing software defects and bugs. All together the enhancements are designed to increase Agile productivity and enable teams to accelerate application production without compromising quality.

“CollabNet continuously invests in improving how teams work, collaborate, share and re-use software assets to build and deploy quality products at speed,” said Flint Brenton, CEO at CollabNet. “The latest advancements in TeamForge will help organizations use the tools and processes they want, while gaining improved visibility into every detail across the software delivery lifecycle to optimize Agile-based processes.”

New features and capabilities in TeamForge release 16.10 include Agile productivity enhancements, stronger enterprise Git capabilities, new integration with TestLink test case management and new REST APIs to further extend TeamForge integration capabilities. It includes redesigned, easily modifiable dashboards to allow project managers and developers to customize and organize their digital workspaces and focus on high-value priorities.

TeamForge also helps teams share and re-use existing code to save time, cut costs and help reduce errors. New Git LFS (large file storage) enhancements in TeamForge contribute to the product’s robust versioning capabilities, making TeamForge the leading choice for enterprise software organizations that use both Git and Subversion.

The latest version of TeamForge is the fourth update released this year, demonstrating the company’s strides in innovation and its commitment to customer value. Leading companies and government agencies leverage TeamForge to accelerate application delivery and reduce costs through a governed adoption of open-source tools, streamlined compliance and the reuse of existing assets, resources and processes in new projects.
