JFrog announced a new machine learning (ML) lifecycle integration between JFrog Artifactory and MLflow, an open source software platform originally developed by Databricks.
Cloudreach launched the next evolution of its cloud management software platform, Cloudamize.
The new platform has been designed to support the entire cloud journey, from initial cloud assessment and migration through ongoing cost optimization and management, across single and multi-cloud environments.
Until now, Cloudamize focused on the assessment and planning of cloud migrations. With this announcement, the platform will support enterprises as they plan, build, and manage their cloud environments, whether they access the software directly from Cloudreach or through one of the company's channel partner.
"Cloudamize is already the market leader in cloud migration planning and today we are taking that to the next level by announcing an enhanced version of the platform," said Aaron Painter, CEO of Cloudreach. "At Cloudreach, our goal is to demystify the cloud transformation process and help our customers harness the power of the cloud to drive their businesses forward. In Cloudamize, we have built a unified platform that codifies our expertise and vision into software, to guide our customers through each step of their cloud journey."
Key new capabilities of the platform include the ability to build, manage, and orchestrate a library of application and Infrastructure-as-Code blueprints, and run validation and security testing against that code to ensure compliance to enterprise standards. This allows automated deployments into Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, accelerating the test and launch of new applications and environments. The new platform also provides ongoing application-level cost optimization, including the ability to right size instances and automate application grouping.
"The new Cloudamize platform is an integrated, end to end solution and this latest release puts Cloudreach in a strong position in the cloud management space," said Owen Rogers, Research VP, 451 Research's Digital Economics Unit. "Cloudamize helps organizations improve their cloud and DevOps management by providing application-centric visibility into their existing cloud footprints, thus improving their ability to build and publish next-generation cloud applications across the major cloud platforms."
