JFrog Artifactory will become a standard universal artifact repository and container registry in Mesosphere’s DC/OS, an open and comprehensive platform for building, running and scaling modern enterprise applications.
The integration of JFrog Artifactory with Mesosphere Velocity, which supports continuous delivery on top of Mesosphere DC/OS, is designed to enable organizations to better manage and automate their Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and accelerate software delivery cycles.
JFrog Artifactory provides package hosting for all major programming languages, including Docker, allowing developers to easily build and store their applications in a local repository with minimal effort.
With JFrog Artifactory and Mesosphere Velocity both running on DC/OS, enterprises can have a complete continuous delivery solution – from building an application from source code, to building and hosting a container image, to deploying the container to a running cluster.
Mesosphere Velocity is built on the Mesosphere DC/OS, which provides enterprises with a single platform for running everything that modern applications require – from Docker containers to big data systems – all on the same set of shared resources.
"The partnership between Mesosphere and JFrog is a natural because we share the same objectives for customers – helping organizations accelerate application delivery by lowering the barriers to continuous integration and continuous delivery for modern and traditional applications. With its uniquely platform-agnostic technology for providing centralized control, management and monitoring of all enterprise artifact assets, JFrog Artifactory will be a great benefit to DC/OS users,” said Florian Leibert, CEO and co-founder of Mesosphere.
“Mesosphere’s vision of integrating CI/CD pipelines directly into the datacenter operating system is bold. We are excited to collaborate with Mesosphere and offer JFrog Artifactory as a standard universal artifact repository and container registry as part of their solution, enabling users to manage and automate their continuous integration flow better and release their applications to production faster,” added Shlomi Ben Haim, CEO and co-founder of JFrog.
