November 20, 2018

xMatters introduced the new xMatters Free, which helps smaller teams benefit from the intelligent collaboration and event management features of the xMatters platform, at no cost and with no expiration date.

The solution is designed to address the needs of today’s digital-minded organizations as they strive to meet the fast-paced, high-quality demands of modern software development.

With the increasing adoption of DevOps, Site Reliability engineering, and microservice architectures, modern organizations are transitioning toward a decentralized IT model in which traditional hierarchies are eliminated in favor of autonomous, small team-driven structures. Whether they exist in smaller companies or as units within larger enterprises, xMatters is empowering these teams to achieve more while keeping costs low.

By implementing xMatters Free and leveraging its wide array of integrations for tools like JIRA, Perth-based Audio/Visual solutions provider Vizcom Technologies successfully minimized downtime while maximizing on performance and availability of critical IT systems.

The xMatters Free version is designed for small teams of up to 15 users. It includes enriched notifications, unlimited integrations, event intelligence, on-call scheduling and automated escalations, the mobile app, and an analytics engine. It also includes community support and online training, all at no cost.
