Sysdig Announces Japanese Subsidiary
January 30, 2020

Sysdig established a Japanese subsidiary, Sysdig Japan GK.

Sysdig, a cloud security and monitoring company, enables enterprises to embed security, maximize availability, and validate compliance. On November 11, 2019, SCSK announced a distributor agreement in Japan with Sysdig.

The establishment of Sysdig Japan GK illustrates the Sysdig commitment to the Japanese market. The company will also be investing in local ecosystem partnerships and recruiting resellers across Japan. By adopting a secure DevOps approach, Japanese customers can confidently accelerate their move to containers and Kubernetes.

“Given that Japanese companies have a history of operationalizing innovative new technologies, we are happy to see a growing demand for Sysdig’s product with Red Hat OpenShift across many industries in Japan,” said Noboru Kohno, Corporate Officer of IT Engineering Division at SCSK Corporation.

SCSK is a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner, JBoss Premier Business Partner, and a leader for OpenShift adoption in Japan. Sysdig has partnered with SCSK in anticipation of Sysdig’s rapid growth in Japan, especially with customers using Red Hat. This relationship also ensures Sysdig customers in Japan have access to support and training with the help of SCSK.

“Japan is an important and growing market for Sysdig. We are committed to the Japanese developer community, our partners, and customers. Cloud adoption is on the rise and we will be here to enable Japanese enterprises to confidently run cloud-native workloads in production,” said Suresh Vasudevan, CEO at Sysdig. “We currently secure the production environments for some of the world’s largest enterprises, including several in Japan, and we look forward to expanding our impact in Japan.”

Sysdig counts Goldman Sachs, Steelcase, and Worldpay from FIS, along with hundreds of other enterprises as customers.
