SmartBear Releases AQtime Pro 8.5
April 18, 2016

SmartBear Software released AQtime Pro 8.5, for application performance and memory profiling.

This latest version adds seamless integration with Embarcadero RAD Studio 10 Seattle, a fast way to build and update data-rich, hyper connected, visually engaging applications for Windows 10, Mac, Mobile and IoT using Object Pascal and C++. Embarcadero Technologies, recently acquired by IDERA, is a provider of software solutions for application development and has been a SmartBear technology partner since 2008.

It is easy to quickly locate and address performance issues and memory leaks for Delphi and C++Builder applications directly from RAD Studio. The integration allows developers to analyze and optimize applications without leaving the IDE. With AQtime 8.5, developers can pinpoint exact functions and lines of code that are causing performance issues and memory leaks and then quickly navigate to them in the RAD Studio editor. Developers can profile a wide range of Delphi and C++Builder applications, including standalone, Windows services, Web services, IDE packages (.bpl), Control Panel applets (.cpl), COM, DCOM and COM+ applications.

“We’ve been working with Embarcadero for more than eight years and it is exciting to see these two popular tools continue to evolve as they have,” said Justin Collier, Product Owner at SmartBear. “We hear time and again how important staying in the IDE is for developers, so we are excited to offer such a valuable integration to RAD Studio 10 Seattle users.”
