Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. announced it has been named as a Recommended vendor in the NSS Labs 2025 Enterprise Firewall Comparative Report, with the highest security effectiveness score.
Cycloid released a new model context protocol (MCP) compliant server that can undertake a range of platform actions, allowing users to interact with the MCP using natural language via an LLM (Large Language Model).
The new capability makes interactions with infrastructure faster and data more accessible, with easy access to self-service, templates, and governance tools that enable teams to rapidly retrieve information, without requiring developer assistance.
By integrating this new capability into the Cycloid platform, non-expert users can execute tasks such as creating a Stack from blueprints, validate StackForm files, list Cycloid events, and list service catalogs and blueprints, all while remaining compliant with guardrail policies and approvals to ensure complete security.
At the heart of Cycloid’s MCP server is a focus on people. By expanding users’ ability to communicate with their infrastructure through the Cycloid platform, the server enhances processes with improved accessibility and speed, resulting in greater efficiency for teams and profitability for business units, as faster builds and reviews translate into better insights and outcomes. The new features include:
- Organizations: can now create and validate StackForms files using AI through the MCP using Cycloid documentation, from creation to test to validation
- Non-expert user accessibility: non-expert users can quickly build Stacks with an AI co-pilot and ask questions about elements of the code / StackForms files
- Experience enhancements: users can quickly list Cycloid events, identify service catalogs and blueprints across the platform
The Cycloid platform has been created to optimise developer experience (DevX) and provide organizations with operational efficiency that lightens cognitive load on IT teams. With a focus on human oversight, governance and AI sovereignty, the sandboxed nature of the MCP environment creates an AI offering that is practical, purposeful, and manageable, tailored specifically for Cycloid users. Cycloid’s MCP server is built with sobriety and sustainability in mind, operating within specified constraints to ensure it only performs tasks as instructed, conserving resources.
“Our MCP server exemplifies a sustainable approach to leveraging AI, which can only operate within very clearly defined boundaries,” explains Benjamin Brial, Founder of Cycloid.io. “With our new MCP, we’re supporting humans in their tasks rather than taking them over, embodying our sober approach to IT that enhances human and technological potential, without shadow tooling or security risks.”
