Automic Integrates with Cloud Foundry
March 10, 2016

Automic announced integration with Cloud Foundry, an open source cloud computing Platform as a Service (PaaS), providing a range of developer languages and frameworks, application services and cloud deployment options for users.

The new Automic Cloud Foundry plug-in integrates with Automic's Release Automation product enabling users to integrate their release and deployment activities seamlessly across cloud and on-premises applications. The Cloud Foundry Action Pack is available immediately from the Automic Marketplace.

Together, Automic Release Automation and the Cloud Foundry plug-in uniquely enable users to coordinate and maintain their automation and orchestration requirements above and across a variety of applications and software delivery tools chains.

“We are thrilled to announce the inclusion of a Cloud Foundry plug-in to our ever-growing list of integrations within the Automic Marketplace”, said John Purrier, CTO of Automic. We see Application Release Automation as the glue that connects software delivery and deployment on-premises and in the cloud. Put simply, our Release Automation product coordinates with a variety of products in the market, including Cloud Foundry, in order to provide our customers with a convenient point of control for orchestration and automation throughout the lifecycle of application delivery”.

The Automic Cloud Foundry action pack supports user’s ability to:

- Quickly and simply build, test, deploy and scale applications in the cloud.

- Build visual workflows to fully automate common Cloud Foundry related activities around authentication, services, and applications.

- Efficiently adopt cloud-native applications and services and integrate them to other existing applications and enterprise processes in a scalable and automated way.
