Zephyr announced Robb Ellis as Chief Financial Officer.
Zephyr is growing quickly, adding roughly 300 customers per month in 2016, and the appointment comes on the heels of three other key hires to support Zephyr’s growing customer base. This is the fifth executive to be hired in 2016 in seven operational departments with the company.
“Agile methodology isn’t used only in development, but it also spans sales, marketing, operations, and finance departments,” said Scott Johnson, CEO of Zephyr. “As an agile business, adding Robb Ellis’ first-rate strategy accomplishments will enable Zephyr to optimize business planning with financial rigor and empower faster, real-time responses to emerging business conditions.”
Ellis brings 15 years of experience in the c-suite and a proven track record of exemplary leadership and strategic vision implementation on a global level for software firms, manufacturing and consumer services companies ranging between $50 million to $1 billion in annual revenue. Before joining the team, Ellis drove focused growth and innovation strategy at Greenway Health and Agilysys.
“The world is moving to a completely digital space, and we’re seeing software testing as a crucial piece to connect enterprises and customers,” said Ellis. “I’m honored to join a company with a stellar record of growth and sustainability, where I can spearhead developments on a global scale with large companies who look to us when meeting consumer demand for high quality software.” Zephyr's test management products allow product and IT teams to manage all aspects of their testing lifecycle to release high quality software. DevOps support, integrations to any continuous integration tool and automation framework, tight integrations to Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence, and real-time metrics are a few of the many features offered to Zephyr customers.
